As a privately held corporation, established in 1981, we have built our company one business at a time by providing top notch, clinically-based mental and behavioral health services for corporations, colleges, universities, hospitals and other institutions worldwide.

The purpose of our EAP is to guide, counsel and assist employees in how to restore their capability to perform their jobs at an acceptable level of performance. At Charles Nechtem Associates, Inc. that process begins with the first phone call. We do not have clerks, gatekeepers or intake coordinators triage calls. Instead, our clinical model calls for experienced, highly trained counselors to answer all of the phone calls, which gives people the immediate opportunity to begin the counseling process. Our counselors are motivated, committed and inspire confidence and trust in the clients who call the EAP.

Our EAP offers employees and their families:

• 24/7 access to mental health and substance abuse care through our toll-free multi-lingual counseling line
• Phone staff solely made up of certified social workers and licensed psychologists with 5 or more years of experience in the counseling field
• A provider network of over 100,000 licensed therapists nationwide

Charles Nechtem Associates, Inc. provides a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program, Wellness Coaching Program, Custom Care Lines and Managed Mental Health and Substance Abuse service, and unlike other EAP's, we are fully integrated into the client's already existing healthcare plan, or directly integrated into our own mental health carve out plan, to ensure continuity of care.

Utilization reviews for all of our programs are provided quarterly and are custom-made based upon the needs of the company at no additional charge. The reviews continuously provide information pertaining to quarterly/annual outpatient and inpatient utilization, site, state, employee, member or dependent utilization, and presenting problem of the client. We also provide de-identified reports in aggregate as follows:

• New cases
• Presenting problems
• Referral status
• Benefits usage

Charles Nechtem Associates, Inc. counselors are available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist your plan members in selecting an appropriate care provider from our extensive network. The initial assessment and counseling offered by our clinicians, who minimally possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in the counseling field, is an important first step in helping individuals understand and solve their problems since effective and efficient treatment can only take place when a problem is properly diagnosed.

Throughout treatment, our counselors maintain continuous contact with the treatment provider to ensure that care is both effective and appropriate. In serious cases, a Charles Nechtem Associates, Inc. psychiatrist or psychologist will participate in the review. Only through a process of continuous review can we ensure that effective treatment is taking place, thereby reducing the likelihood of on-the-job accidents, absenteeism and tardiness.
